Patents as stories of curiosity.

Smart Accessibility Kiosk

Indian Design Patent

What did I observe?
A visually impaired person struggling to use an ATM independently.
Why was existing technology insufficient?
The ATM offered no way for them to complete the transaction independently: it assumed a sighted user with no adaptive path for anyone else.
How did the concept arrive?
The idea began as a sign-language translation concept, then expanded into a full adaptive public accessibility kiosk.

Accessibility should adapt to people, not require people to adapt to technology.

Intelligent Correction Pen

German Utility Patent

What did I observe?
Industrial paint mixers at Asian Paints dynamically combining RGB and CMYK pigments to generate custom colour matches.
Why was existing technology insufficient?
Correction fluid never truly disappears into paper because it cannot adapt its colour and texture to the surface it covers.
How did the concept arrive?
The question was whether the same adaptive colour-mixing idea used in industrial paint mixers could work inside a correction pen: sensor fusion with camera-assisted surface analysis, RGB ink mixing, and texture pellets to match both colour and texture.

Good ideas often emerge from combining concepts from unrelated industries.
