Smart Accessibility Kiosk
Indian Design Patent
- What did I observe?
- A visually impaired person struggling to use an ATM independently.
- Why was existing technology insufficient?
- The ATM offered no way for them to complete the transaction independently: it assumed a sighted user with no adaptive path for anyone else.
- How did the concept arrive?
- The idea began as a sign-language translation concept, then expanded into a full adaptive public accessibility kiosk.
“Accessibility should adapt to people, not require people to adapt to technology.”
